With a total budget of €12.1 million, AICS Tirana funds and implements 5 projects for Culture in the Western Balkans (Albania: 2 grants and 1 EU delegated project; Bosnia and Herzegovina: 1 grant; Regional: 1 EU delegated project) focused on:

  • Technical and scientific assistance for the protection and the enhancement of the cultural heritage of the Antigonea Archaeological Park and the historic village of Benja (Albania);
  • Development of local resources and sustainable tourism in the area of ​​the Bylis and Klos Archaeological Parks (Albania);
  • Financial support for women and young people through the promotion of cultural heritage;
  • Technical and financial assistance for the development of cultural and creative industries in the Western Balkans region;
  • Promotion of the mobility of artists and cultural professionals to strengthen cooperation, exchange, and dialogue in the region.
