With a budget of €17 million, 9 ongoing projects in the Education and Vocational Training sector are funded and managed by AICS Tirana in the Western Balkans (Albania: 4 grants; Bosnia and Herzegovina: 1 grant; Kosovo: 4 grants). These projects focus on:
- Support in the implementation of National Strategies for Vocational Education and Training;
- Support in the development and revision of curricula;
- Activation of job opportunities through the involvement of the private sector at the local level.
AICS Tirana programme focuses on supporting partner country institutions in improving the quality and efficiency of education and vocational training systems in order to increase the opportunities for new generations, to realize their potential human capital, ensuring inclusion and equal access to educational opportunities.
