Biography
Before this task, Ms. Stefania Vizzaccaro served as the Geographic Desk for North Africa and the Balkans at the Agency’s Headquarter, contributing to the definition of operational development cooperation strategies for these areas.
During her time at AICS, Ms. Vizzaccaro carried out various institutional missions both in the area of interest and in Brussels, as well as serving as a lecturer at the series of seminars on Italian Cooperation, organized by the Department of Political Sciences at the Federico II University of Naples.
Ms. Vizzaccaro has been responsible for various projects—as Technical Coordinator for cooperation initiatives, related to education and training within the Office IV, Human Development – including the non-decentralized initiative in the field of human rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina: “European Regional Master’s Degree in Democracy and Human Rights for South-Eastern Europe – ERMAA.A. 2016/2017-2017/2018“.
Previously, she held the position of Official at the Territorial Office III of the Directorate General for Development Cooperation – MAECI, always with a focus on the Western Balkans, as well as an Official at Office XII of the same D.G.C.S.
She was Director of General and Administrative Services (DSGA) for the School Sector-MIUR of the Ministry of Education, University and Research – School Sector – at various educational institutions of all levels in Milan and Rome.
Ms. Vizzaccaro worked at the Customs Agency, assigned to the European and International Policy Office of the Directorate for Projects and International Relations.
She holds a degree in Law. at the University “La Sapienza” of Rome.
