Italian Development Cooperation, UNODC and Partners Launch New Program to Tackle Corruption and Organized Crime in Bosnia and Herzegovina
The project will work with a wide range of institutions, such as APIK, the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council and the entity-level Judicial and Prosecutorial Training Centres to support the development of modern training programs for criminal justice practitioners.

EXPO Albania: a feasibility study supported by the Italian Government
Funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and carried out by the University of Verona in collaboration with VeronaFiere, this study includes macroeconomic context mapping, a business model, a financial and a management plan, along with several recommendations for implementation and launch, delivered to the local counterpart Albanian Investment Corporation – AIC.
EU4Justice 3rd Steering Committee Meeting
The project’s overall objective is to support the judiciary governance institutions in Albania to implement justice reform by strengthening their independence, transparency, efficiency, and accountability, improving inter-institutional coordination, and building public trust in the justice system in line with European standards and best practices, focused on improving the performance of HJC, HPC, and HJI in the consolidation of justice system independence, accountability, transparency, and functionality.
AICS Tirana enhances albanian cultural heritage in the Archaeological Parks of Bylis and Klos
On 20 September 2024, the “Bylis” project (“EU for Economic Development initiative, Tourism-led Local Economic Development, with a Focus on Cultural Heritage“) held its inaugural Steering Committee meeting. The project is funded by the European Union and implemented by AICS Tirana Regional Office, with a 6 million euro investment, alongside a 250,000 euro contribution from Italian Government.
NaturKosovo, Italy’s commitment to alpine rescue and sustainable development on Via Dinarica in Kosovo
The activities are part of the project by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) called “NaturKosovo: natural and cultural capital in Kosovo and the sustainable tourism development of the Via Dinarica,” which represents a strong contribution to enhancing Kosovo’s natural and cultural resources and promotes a low environmental impact tourism model
