An intense three-days event dedicated to the theme “๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ง๐ข๐๐ฅ” brought together and gave voice to farmers, youth, women, and institutional representatives from across Albania, with the aim of translating the needs of rural communities into concrete public policy proposals, accelerating Albania’s path to accession to the European Union.
During seven different thematic Rural Talks, key themes for inclusive, locally driven development emerged. The results will be incorporated into the Joint Declaration of the Rural Parliament, an advocacy tool to support agricultural policies that better meet the needs and aspirations of local rural communities.
The initiative was organized by the Albanian Network for Rural Development (ANRD), with the support of the ๐๐ ๐๐จ๐๐ projectโfunded by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation through the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) and implemented by CIHEAM Bari.
