The AICS Director Luca Maestripieri arrived in Tirana for a two-day visit, to meet the Staff Aics, the civil society and representatives of the Albanian Government, media and international community. New initiatives have been launched, including the first project – funded by AICS – carried out by the High Council of the Judiciary of Italy in support of the Albanian School of Magistrates in the framework of the Albanian constitutional reform, together with the Minister of Justice Etilda Gjonaj, the Vice President of the High Council of the Judiciary of Italy David Ermini, the EU Ambassador to Albania HE Luigi Soreca and the Ambassador of Italy in Tirana HE Alberto Cutillo. Mr. Maestripieri met the beneficiaries of the Made With Italy ethical brand and the representatives of civil society in Albania. With the Minister of Culture Elva Margariti, the Minister of Diaspora Pandeli Majko, Brian Williams – UN Resident Coordinator – and Ambassador Cutillo participated to the presentation of the first important results of the Diaspora project at COD – Prime Minister’s Office. He visited the Adisa One Stop Shop in Tirana, an effective innovation in offering more transparent and quality public services to the Albanian citizens. It was an intense and full of appointments visit, which highlighted the Italian commitment in the Country alongside national institutions, international community and civil society.
