In the framework of the project for the development of the Feasibility Plan of the Trade Fair Center, financed by AICS, a workshop was held on July 31st to share and discuss the project’s progress. From the Albanian side, attendees included the Minister for Local Governance, Arbjan Mazniku, the Albanian Investment Corporation (AIC), representatives from the Territorial Development Agency (AKTP), and selected architectural firms, Atelier4 and Steven Holl Architects. On the Italian side, in addition to AICS Tirana represented by Deputy Director Letizia Fischioni, the University of Verona and Veronafiere were present, accompanied by EY-Parthenon and the Italian Trade Agency (ICE).
Their expertise is crucial in collaborating on this significant challenge. The meeting, following the workshop on May 2 and 3, confirmed the fruitful exchange between the two countries, aiming to establish a trade fair center in the Albanian capital inspired by some of the best Italian models.
