The campaign launched in Korça, one of the 9 municipalities of Albania where UNFPA and AICS are implementing their intervention to reduce gender-based violence and harmful practices through gender-responsive governance, this year coincides with the global campaign of the “16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence” and marks the beginning of a year-long initiative to challenge harmful social norms, prevent early and forced marriages, and promote gender equality across Albania.

Il progetto intende contribuire allo sviluppo turistico sostenibile del Kosovo attraverso la promozione del tratto locale della Via Dinarica, valorizzandone le risorse culturali, storiche e naturali, sostenendo le istituzioni nella governance del settore e creando posti di lavoro a beneficio delle comunità locali.
Il ruolo del CAI è duplice: supporto per la progettazione e lavori di manutenzione sul campo + formazione.
L'iniziativa si concentra nel territorio di tre comuni kosovari (Peja, Decan e Junik) nella parte occidentale del Paese, dove si trovano le montagne più alte delle Alpi Dinariche, che sfiorano i 2700 metri di quota, e da dove passa il percorso escursionistico della Via Dinarica. Il Sentiero Italia CAI è stato adottato come esperienza pilota tecnica e organizzativa per promuovere il turismo naturalistico-ambientale nei Balcani sud-occidentali.
